Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel any time from the billing portal in your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for. No lock-in contracts.

Refunds

• First subscription payment: if the Service isn't right for you, email us within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.
• Renewals: renewal payments are generally not refundable, but if something has gone wrong — a billing error, duplicate charge, or a fault on our side — contact us and we will make it right.
• Credit packs: unused credit packs are refundable within 7 days of purchase. Credits already consumed are not refundable.
• Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including remedies for services that fail to meet consumer guarantees.

What happens to credits when you cancel

Monthly plan credits expire at the end of your final billing period. Purchased credit packs remain usable for three months after cancellation, so you can come back and finish what you started.

Email support@academicguardian.ai with the email address on your account. We aim to respond within 2 business days, and refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe.
